Backups and recovery procedures should also be planned for applications that store important business information. Regular maintenance is necessary because security threats and technology change over time. Dependencies should be reviewed, software should be updated, access permissions should be checked, and unnecessary services should be removed. A secure and scalable web application is not defined by how complicated its technology looks. The important factor is whether the architecture appropriately addresses the business requirements while remaining understandable and maintainable. For businesses, investing in secure development practices and sensible scalability planning can create a stronger technical foundation.
